Hey everybody. As you can see I am finally back. This post will be in English first because I want to try something different and second because I want this to be read by some people that don't understand Bulgarian. I will begin with why I decided to come back. It is because of one person, actually THE PERSON, the brightest one in my life - my sister. When I started my blog as a university project she liked it very much and when the project was finished she kept asking me "Why, why did you stop your blog, it was so you" etc. Now I have just returned from my Easter holiday in Izmir, Turkey (that's where she lives) and I heard this question again. The reason why I am writing now is because I didn't have an answer. And how stupid it is to do something (or don't do it) for no reason??? So here I am now and I will talk sweet of course :) When I was in Turkey I ate sweet things (a lot I mean, I ate and ate and oh my...) But I will talk about the Turkish delight and the other traditional sweet things in Turkey in another post. Now I want to present you the amazing thing you see on the picture. Unfortunatelly, you cannot buy it, because it is homemade and it was for a special occasion. My sister teaches Turkish language to foreigners in Izmir and this unelievable dessert was made by one of her students - Leeanne Grobler a proud Australian - thank you! So let me tell you what it is. As they all say - look beyond the surface. But why? I like this surface. I mean it is all chocolate eggs and chocolate cornflakes! What more? This is what I was thinkingt while eating it until...until I reached it - a layer of chewy caramel and cookies...Now as I remember it I am spechless. This was one of the most amazing sweet things I have ever tried. It was made especially for Easter (probably you figured this out - the eggs and things), but the most pleasant part was that this miracle happened to me exactly on my birthday! So I told you what the ingredients are and believe me - the mixture is worth eating. If anyone decides to give it a try, please call me :)
P.S. I want to thank my sister, her husband and Leeanne - the woman that made this wonderful dessert and made my life even sweeter :)
